We believe that the barriers every startup is facing while entering an industry are still high. We want to support every small business owners that have a MVP to find new customers, investors, and mentors and get them the chance to skyrocket their business idea.
If you're a startup looking for investors, customers, funding or media exposure, Go StarTech offers you an unique opportunity to showcase your tech product or solution to the Romanian business & tech community within GoTech World, on 2-3 October. The registration is entirely free and open for every startup that meets the criteria for participation.
Go StarTech is a program in which we will select 20 startups that we'll exhibit without any costs during GoTech World.
20 startups will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses in front of over 10.000 business professionals in GoTech World's Startups Area.
7 promising startups will be shortlisted to pitch their solutions on the GoTech World's Main Stage and will be evaluated by a qualified jury.
The startup that will convince the jury and will get the highest score, will be awarded with a prize.

He’s one those guys keeping up with technology trends and regulatory changes.
Sergiu is a Business Growth Consultant and Associated Dean with Maastricht School of Management in Romania. He coaches and mentors entrepreneurs. Sergiu is an active Business Angel, with participations in a number of high growth local companies (FRUFRU, 2performant, Softelligence, Fintech OS, EITG).
Previously, Sergiu has been the Executive Director and Board Member of PE-owned REGINA MARIA in Romania, where he coordinated a growing healthcare business (12x in 6 years) and an expanding team of professionals, including acquisitions of smaller players. Before returning to Romania, Sergiu has worked for Amgen Inc, in Austria and Switzerland, playing an active role in the company’s expansion to CEE countries.
Sergiu proudly holds an MBA from INSEAD. His previous education includes a Computer Science degree from Politehnica University of Bucharest and an International Business degree from ASE.
After launching both projects and companies in B2B & B2C (omni-channel or digital), Adrian Enache began leading one of the largest UK-based angel investors platforms after being appointed CEO of Angels Den early this year. Angels Den connects almost 20.000 investors with businesses that have strong growth potential. Having an active angel investor on board increases the chance of success and, as a result, over 90% of the funded companies are still in the market and have been trading for more than 5 years.
The company has funded dozens of start-ups in 2018. With over 10 years’ experience in one of the most mature markets in terms of fund-raising and capital markets, Angels Den ensures that investors only see the best pre-screened investment opportunities.
Having both corporate and start-up experience, Adrian Enache also founded OmniPERFORM, a digital communication agency. By developing its proprietary technology, OmniPERFORM helps brands get a better understanding of their customers’ needs, while increasing the relevance of the advertising campaigns that are always designed with the customer in mind
For over 11 years, Claudia Jelea has been focusing her legal practice on IT&C, intellectual property, e-commerce and personal data protection. She has assisted both multinational and local players from industries such as IT, telecom, advertising and entertainment. She likes to believe that she is bridging these dynamic areas with a creative approach to the law. Claudia currently runs Jlaw. Attorneys at law (a boutique shop of niche legal services) and IP Boutique (a trademark agency). She is both a lawyer and a registered trademark attorney. In 2010, her background was further rounded by two master’s programmes from Stockholm University, Sweden: IT Law and European Intellectual Property Law.
With core strengths in leadership, creativity, public speaking, project management and product ideation, Cristian is a creative and energetic solution builder, with a 15 years track record of delivering outstanding results in various fields and industries.
Under his leadership, he grew together with 3 partners, 3 companies that are currently number 1 in their field: Catalyst Solutions, Brainspotting and Universum Events, employing over 110 people and over 6 mil Euro in revenue.
He managed hundreds of events with more than 200.000 participants and facilitated over 400 trainings and teambuildings with thousands of participants.
His passion for people and technology made him start several major events in Romania: Internet & Mobile World – the largest B2B technology driven event in the region, Innovation Summit – the first concept-event in Romania focused solely on business innovation, Bucharest Technology Week – a full week of celebrating technology for a greater purpose, Angajatori de TOP & www.hipo.ro – the first and the biggest career fair for young professionals in Romania.
